In their review, the user observed that the Thruster profile is using familiar branding for unfamiliar activities. Pointing to the history of the brand, they stated that "Now the account seems to be promoting a different project, with no clear connection to the original team."

According to the reviews, Thruster used to operate as one of the largest decentralized exchanges on the Blast network before shutting down. The current account is now reportedly promoting launches on various different blockchain networks.

Ethos Reviewers Warn Thruster Promotes Unrelated Project
“Old Thruster Name, Different Project!!!”

The broader sentiment on Ethos Network reflects the concerns raised in the main review. The project currently has a total of three negative reviews, with zero positive reviews and zero neutral reviews.

Other highly rated reviewers echoed the theory that the account handle was compromised or reassigned. One user with an Ethos score of 2099 claimed that "the original account apparently got deleted, and now someone appears to have taken over the old identity". They alleged that the new operators took the entire branding and "keep switching the name and the chain theyre supposedly launching on, riding the reputation the original dex built back then". This user also warned that the current operators "put a fake website link in the bio and keep hopping between chains trying to scam people who still trust the name".

Another reviewer with a score of 1448 shared a similar sentiment regarding the disconnect between the old exchange and the new promotions. They quoted the rumors, stating, "I’m wary of this account. There are reports that the original Thruster handle was taken over after the Blast DEX shut down, while the account now promotes launches on different chains." They added that they have not found proof of a connection to the original founders, writing, "I haven’t seen evidence connecting whoever runs it now to the original team. I wouldn’t trust it on familiar branding alone."
